Niime Best IVs

Recommended IVs

Stat Superboon/Superbane IV Recommendation
HP (17) HP Superboon ★★★☆☆
Atk (12) Attack Boon ★★★★★
Spd (7) No Spd IV ★★★☆☆
Def (4) Def Bane ★★☆☆☆
Res (10) Res Bane ★★★★★

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All Units Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Res/-Def

Niime has the highes Res in the game (as of February 2022). Thus, a +Res IV is best to maximize her bulk and double down on her as a magic tank.

Her Def is a dump stat and lowering it further will not change her matchups, especially with her below average HP stat. Thus, it is safe to take as a bane.

+Res for a +10 merge

A +Res IV is the best option for Niime for similar reasons above. Maximize her Res and use her to her fullest potential!

Niime is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Also, it should be noted that Niime is the very first unit to have an inheritable colorless tome.

Niime Strengths

A weapon that inflicts powerful debuffs!

Niime Weapon Buffs Fire Emblem Heroes FEH.PNG

Niime's weapon debuffs can be seen on this Axe Cavalier.

Niime's weapon functions similar to weapons like Plegian Torch+ - it inflicts debuffs on an enemy unit that get stronger the more penalties they already have.

While it's not a Prf like other colorless users, its still very useful and synergizes well with Niime's Atk/Res Menace.

Niime Weaknesses

Lack of Close Counter makes her vulnerable against melee units

Due to her kit lacking Close Counter, Niime is vulnerable against melee units as they can just go up into her face without her being able to retaliate.

Invisible buffs can still be stacked on her target

While Niime can inflict stornger debuffs on enemy units, she only takes into account invisible buffs.

Invisible buffs such as those provided by Joint Drive Spd, Drive Res, and similar skills can still be stacked on her target in order to mitigate her damage.

Value of Skills ★★★★☆

Inheriting Hvítrvulture+, Atk/Res Solo 4, or Atk/Res Menace

Niime gets the honor of being the first unit to have an inheritable colorless tome with Hvítrvulture+, and can also be used to inherit Atk/Res Solo 4 and Atk/Res Menace.

Take note, however, that you cannot inherit all these skills from one copy of Niime, so take care in deciding which skills to fodder off!
