If sword, lance, axe, bow, dagger, or beast foe initiates combat, grants Atk/Def+5 to unit during combat and unit can counterattack regardless of foe's range.

Midori Best IVs

Recommended IVs

Stat Superboon/Superbane IV Recommendation
HP (17) Normal HP ★★★☆☆
Atk (23) Attack Boon ★★★★★
Spd (6) No Spd IV ★★★★☆
Def (10) No Def IV ★★★★☆
Res (4) No Res IV ★★☆☆☆

◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws

See the IV Checker for All Units Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk/-Res

The best IVs for Midori are +Atk and -Res. A higher Atk stat boosts Midori's already strong attacking and counterattacking capabilities making it easier for her to defeat her foes. Res is of less importance, so it can be safely taken as a bane.

+Spd for a 10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Midori to 10. With a +Spd IV, Midori's Spd stat will reach 37 with 10 merges, which makes it easier to prevent Follow-up Attacks. This allows Midori to become decent in a tanking role as well. If you want to focus on damage per attack, you could use a +Atk IV Midori as a base.

We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Lucky Bow

Refined Lucky Bow heals 10 HP and neutralizes penalties to Midori and nearby allies at the start of each turn, grants Midori Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 and a guaranteed follow-up attack, and denies her foe's follow-up attack.

These effects can swing combat in Midori's favor and is worth refining.

Midori's Strengths

Lucky Bow helps both offensively and defensively

Midori's new exclusive weapon Lucky Bow grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4, creates a 14-point Atk swing by granting Midori Atk+7 and debuffing her for Atk-7, and grants bonus damage and damage reduction equal to 15% of Midori's Atk.

However, after combat, it inflicts Special cooldown count+2 on Midori, slowing down her Special.

When refined, Lucky Bow heals 10 HP and neutralizes penalties to Midori and nearby allies at the start of each turn, grants Midori Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 and a guaranteed follow-up attack, and denies her foe's follow-up attack.

Midori's Weaknesses

Low Speed and Low Resistance

Midori has low Spd and low Res stats. If Midori is attacked by a high-speed Magical attacker, there is a high chance that she will be defeated in one turn as her Low Speed also makes her susceptible to Follow-Up attacks. Always be mindful of Midori's positioning in relation to the enemies who pose a threat to her.

Special is Hard to Activate

Because of the effect of Lucky Bow, which you will be utilizing a lot, Special skills with high cooldowns become hard to use. You may want to change the weapon if you prefer using Special skills, but we also recommend using a Special skill that has a low cooldown instead. For low cooldown Special skills we recommend Moonbow, Glimmer, or any other 2-cooldown Special.
