The recommended IVs for Brave Eliwood are +Atk and -HP. Having an Atk boon will significantly increase the amount of damage Eliwood deals when gaining a follow-up attack. Additionally, a +Spd IV will also further increase the ease at which he gains follow-up attacks.

This is a Galeforce and Wings of Mercy build for Brave Eliwood. The idea is for Eliwood to warp to his low HP ally, attack, and then trigger Galeforce. This will grant him another action, allowing him to attack again.
This is a budget build for Brave Eliwood with minimal skill inheritance. His default kit is decent enough for him to deal damage though you will still need his weapon refine.
| HOT | |
|---|---|
This build utilizes Eliwood's refined Ninis's Ice Lance plus Windsweep to attack safely into opponents.
| HOT | |
|---|---|
This is a mixed phase build that uses every inch of Brave Eliwood's refined weapon, including the bonus stats. Distant Dart allows counterattacking at any distance and improves his Spd, while Atk Smoke 4 denies enemy follow-up attacks, improving his bulk.
| Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
|---|---|
| SP: 400 | |
| Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Effective against dragon and beast foes. Grants Spd+3. If unit initiates combat or within 2 spaces of ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit and neutralizes effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks during combat. If unit initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to unit during combat, and also, if unit's Spd > foe's Spd, reduces damage from attacks during combat and from area-of-effect Specials by percentage = difference between stats x 4 (max 40%). |
Ninis's Ice Lance's refine gives Eliwood a total of Atk/Spd/Def/Res+10 if he initiates combat or is within 2 spaces of an ally.
He will also nullify any effects that prevents his follow-up attacks and if his Spd is higher than an enemy unit, he will reduce their damage equal to the difference of their Spd x 4.
This a great refine that can make Brave Eliwood either a mixed phase unit or a player-phase offensive unit.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
B!Eliwood is a close ranged physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
B!Eliwood's exclusive weapon Ninis's Ice Lance is effective on dragons and beasts, making it very easy to deal a ton of damage, even against powerful foes like Fallen Edelgard.
The weapon's refine will also give him Atk/Spd/Def/Res+10, nullify any effects that prevents his follow-up attacks, and if his Spd is higher than an enemy unit, he will reduce their damage depending on the difference between their stats.
Brave Eliwood's A slot skill Swift Sparrow 3 will give him Atk+6 and Spd+7 when he initiates combat.
When combined with his weapon skill he will gain Atk+16 and Spd+17 during combat, enabling him to annihilate a large number of foes with one attack.
As a cavalry unit, an attack from a foe with a weapon that is effective on cavalry units, such as Gronnwolf+, can be lethal. Inheriting the special skill Galeforce can allow him to strike foes and then escape to safety.

B!Eliwood can be used to inherit Swift Sparrow 3 or Atk/Spd Ruse 3. However, he is a very powerful unit, so we recommended leveling up and building your first one instead of foddering them off.

Also, i think it would be very helpful if a hero has a refined weapon available, that u would list the rating that u gave it under the "weapon refinery tier list" page. It would help newer players decide if a hero they just got is worth building up. A date on when it was refined would be helpful, too (like u added on the suggested builds). New players don't always understand the skill descriptions, so knowing the rating w/o having to go search would be nice.
