skate. or skate 4 is the next simulation game from EA’s classic skateboarding franchise. Developed by Full Circle, ‘skate.’ will be the series’ first game after 15 years of inactivity. The game is slated to come out in early access for the PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One on September 16, 2025.
Taking place in the fictional city of San Vansterdam, the evil business suits in MongoCorp, overwise known as MCorp, seek to ban the act of skateboarding completely. Skateboarders everywhere take up their boards and skate around the city in protest in order to keep the extreme sport alive and to run the authorities away from the city.
Players will be able to play as customized avatars and skate around the city, mingling with NPCs as well as other players online. Conquering all sorts of obstacles across the streets and performing the most extreme stunts to stick it to MCorp.

skate. will have players control their custom characters as they ride their skateboard across the city filled with all sorts of ramps to jump off of, rails to grind on, and obstacles to avoid. Players will be able to hop online with others in order to compete in executing the most stylish and extreme moves while on their skateboards.
The developers have yet to release more specific game mechanics, and therefore this section of the article will be updated as soon as more information becomes available.
