Releasing Under Early Access in 2025
skate. has yet to reveal any sort of release date for the game, but it has been confirmed that it will be entering early access in 2025 for modern consoles– most likely on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC and Nintendo Switch versions have yet to be announced, and could arrive at a later date.

Interested players can register on their website to get a chance to gain access for the closed ‘Insider’ playtests, where they must have an EA account and follow their Pre-Release Feedback Agreement of not recording nor sharing any screenshots and footage of the game.
Is skate. on Xbox Game Pass?
It is still unknown if the game will become available on Xbox Game Pass.
Is skate. on PS Plus?
It has yet to be determined whether the game will become available for PS Plus.
Is skate. on Nintendo Switch Online?
The game will not be on the Nintendo Switch.

The official Twitter/X account announces that the game will be releasing as early access in 2025.
June 8, 2024
After a couple years of more testing, skate. appeared in gamescom 2024 with a humorous sketch, announcing that they will be conducting early access playtesting soon.
June 30, 2022
The developers had conducted inner playtesting for the majority of the previous year since announcement. In turn, they provided an update to the public audience that progress has been running smoothly and that they are still hard at work.
July 20, 2021
skate. was announced to be in development on July 20, 2021, much to the joy and excitement of longtime fans of the series!
