Orochi's Lair Strategy Guide

Defeat the Orochi

The objective in Orochi's Lair is to defeat the Orochi within its depths to stop it from terrorizing the residents of Zipangu. This foe is located on basement floor 2, so prepare your HP and items in advance.

Immediately Enter the Warp Gate

Once you win the first battle against the Orochi, a warp gate will appear, so be sure to enter it. If you go anywhere else after this battle, the Orochi will respawn, and you will need to defeat it again.

Recover HP Before Challenging the Orochi Again

When you enter the warp gate, you will return to Zipangu, but if you talk to Himiko, you will engage in another battle with the Orochi.

Obtain the Purple Orb

After defeating the Orochi for the second time, a treasure chest will spawn. Opening this will reward you with the Purple Orb which is essential for you to progress the story.
