The Rotating Floor has a special mechanic, where stepping on a tile with a specific diamond pattern leads to a completely different direction of your intended step.
A helpful tip to note is that if you rotate your controller 90 degrees to the left, it will follow the correct pattern of movement for diamonds that are white on the lefthand side. The opposite is applicable for diamonds with white on its righthand side, you turn your controller 90 degrees to the right.
To reach the top of Tower of Rubiss, jump off the rotating floor on the north side of floor 3. After you fall, you will land on floor 1, but you can now continue up the stairs to the top floor.
On floor 4, you can get a Light Armor, which is the strongest armor for the Hero Job Class. You will be fighting strong enemies from now on, so be sure to get it.
