Using a player phase strategy is the best option on this map in order to avoid getting hit by Emblem Sigurd and his Override Special. If Emblem Sigurd is able to reach your units, you've most likely already lost.
The enemies will also immediately move on turn one, even if you are not in their threat range.
Field a team of offensive units that can knock out enemies in one combat together with a refresher unit. If these units have ways to generate extra actions, such as Duo Skills, Galeforce, or other similar effects, then it will make this map significantly easier to clear.
To start, defeat the Lance Knight with a ranged magic cavalry unit, and then use movement Assists and refresher Assists to retreat to safety. If you can also defeat either the Red Flier or the Sword Infantry while ensuring a safe retreat, do so.
Take great care to stay at least 6 spaces away from Emblem Sigurd, as he will grant himself the 【Gallop】 status at the start of each turn, giving him 5 movement. You could field Elimine in order to prevent this using her Staff of the Saint, or even Tina to steal it with Thief, but it is better to just stay away manually and avoid carrying a support unit around.
Spend the first two turns defeating enemies and then retreating away from the danger zone and clear as many of them as you can. Emblem Sigurd will only begin advancing on the third turn, and he can reach the bridge area immediately using his 5 movement. Plan ahead so that you have offensive units that can reach him on turn four to defeat him quickly before he can even attack.
Once Emblem Sigurd is defeated, the rest of the map will be easy to clean up.
It is also possible to form up into a ball and use Savior Tanks to enemy phase the entire map, especially when the enemy units begin approaching on the first turn whether you step into their threat range or not.
However, we highly recommend bringing along one offensive unit that can initiate and defeat Emblem Sigurd in one combat, as he will easily nuke down your Savior Tanks with his Override Special even if they are heavily invested.
Using this strategy, simply ball up just below the bridge area and rely on your Near Save and Far Save tanks to soak up damage from the generic enemies and defeat them on enemy phase.
It is very important that you do not go past the bridge and stay at least 2 spaces away from the bridge.
Emblem Sigurd will only begin advancing on the third turn, and he can reach the bridge area immediately using his 5 movement. Plan ahead so that your offensive unit can reach him on turn four to defeat him quickly before he can even attack.
Once Emblem Sigurd is defeated, the rest of the map will be easy to clean up.
