Fireflood Boost 3 Grants HP+5. At start of combat, if unit's HP > 50%, grants Atk/Res+7 to unit during combat, and also, if unit is within 2 spaces of an ally with HP > 50%, inflicts Special cooldown charge -1 on foe per attack during combat (only highest value applied; does not stack).

Ruler of Nihility At start of turn, inflicts Atk/Def-7, 【Discord】, and status preventing counterattacks on nearest foes within 5 spaces of unit and foes within 2 spaces of those foes through their next actions. At start of combat, if foe's HP ≥ 75% or 【Penalty】 is active on foe, inflicts Atk/Def-5 on foe during combat, and also, if unit's attack can trigger unit's Special, grants Special cooldown count-1 to unit before unit's first attack during combat.

Fatal Smoke 4 Foe cannot recover HP during or after combat. Neutralizes foe's non-Special "if foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP" effects during combat. After combat, inflicts 【Deep Wounds】 and a penalty that neutralizes non-Special "if foe would reduce unit's HP to 0, unit survives with 1 HP" effects on target and foes within 2 spaces of target through their next actions.

+Atk / -Spd

The best IVs for Ginnungagap are +Atk and -Spd. Ginnungagap's Atk is among the best of them at base 47, and is applied twice through Arcane Void's guaranteed follow-up attack. Boosting her Atk improves her capability to delete foes in one round of combat.

The rest of Ginnungagap's stats are all hovering around the average benchmark. Unfortunately, average Spd is not good enough to compete with fast metagame units. Thus, it is the bane of choice.

+Atk for a +10 merge

Ginnungagap is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Ginnungagap Strengths

Arcane Void creates large stat swings and speeds up Specials

Ginnungagap's inheritable Arcane weapon Arcane Void inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-X on her foe, where X is the highest penalty on each stat between her target foe and all foes within 2 spaces of that foe.

Arcane Void also grants Ginnungagap Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5, a guaranteed follow-up attack, and Special cooldown charge +1 per attack during combat. These effects allow Ginnungagap to quickly charge up her Special and then trigger it in the same combat.

While Arcane Void isn't overwhelmingly powerful compared to other weapons, it still gets the job done in combat.

Ruler of Nihility inflicts multiple penalties onto multiple foes

Ginnungagap's exclusive B skill Ruler of Nihility inflicts Atk/Def-7, 【Discord】, and the Flash status on the nearest foes within 5 spaces of Ginnungagap and all foes within 2 spaces of those foes.

In combat, Ruler of Nihility inflicts Atk/Def-5 on her foe during combat, and if Ginnungagap has an offensive Special equipped, grants Special cooldown count -1 before her first attack.

These debuffs all add up to make combat unbearable for Ginnungagap's foes, allowing her to carve through her enemies with ease.
