When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Summer Micaiah are +Atk and -Def. Her Atk is a superboon and boosting it leads to the most kills, especially with her dual effectiveness tome with a potential brave attack.
Her Def is a dump stat and boosting it will not change her matchups. Thus, it is a safe bane to take.
We recommend +Atk when merging Summer Micaiah to +10. Her Atk is her best stat and should be boosted as much as possible.

This build focuses on boosting Atk/Res to improve Summer Micaiah's niche. Menace skills are clunky on ranged cavs, thus we chose Rouse to reliably increase her Atk/Res. Prescience can be replaced by Lull Atk/Res 3 or A/R Far Trace 3 if you prefer those skills.

Summer Micaiah is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Summer Micaiah's Moonlight Drop is effective against armored and cavalry foes similar to other versions of Micaiah.
It also grants an accelerated Special trigger, Atk/Res+6 during combat, and a variable Spd check.
If the value of Summer Micaiah's Res minue her foe's Res is ≥ 5 and ≤ 14, Summer Micaiah makes a guaranteed follow-up attack.
If said value is ≥ 15 and Summer Micaiah initiates combat, she attacks twice.
Attacking twice consecutively allows her to combat Hardy Fighter 3 by activating it on the first attack, and then attacking again with armor effectiveness and potentially a Special skill triggered too!
Similar to Legendary Micaiah, Summer Micaiah carries Maiden's Solace as an exclusive assist skill.
This assist skill converts the target's penalties into bonuses, and then cleanses off all remaining penalties on that unit. In addition, Summer Micaiah transfers her HP to the target until the target is fully healed, and then she loses that amount of HP.
This skill ensures that its target is ready for combat, making Summer Micaiah a valuable support unit as well!
Also similar to Legendary Micaiah, Summer Micaiah carries Prescience as an exclusive B skill.
This skill inflicts Atk/Res-5 on the foe. This is already very helpful as it provides her with more firepower and some bulk. More importantly, Prescience reduces the damage from the foe's first attack by 30% when:
Summer Micaiah's base kit lacks a Canto effect to grant her some post-combat mobility.
While you can remedy this by inheriting a Far Trace skill onto her, this would remove Prescience from her equipped skills.
Carefully weigh the benefits of both skills before deciding on which skill to use!
Summer Micaiah takes 1.5x damage from cavalry-effective weapons like Thani or Binding Reginleif, and one blow from this type of weapon is sure to take her down. Make sure you know what weapons you are up against before hopping too far into the line of battle!
