Once used, Duo Skill cannot be activated again right away. At start of odd-numbered turns, if Duo Skill has already been used, unit can use Duo Skill again. 【Null Follow-Up】 If unit's Spd > foe's Spd during combat, neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks for 1 turn. (Duo Skills can be used once per map by tapping the Duo button. Duo Skills cannot be used by units deployed using Pair Up.)

When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

+Atk and -HP

Halloween Sothis' best IVs are +Atk and -HP. +Atk is a superboon and helps Sothis boost damage output. Her Atk is a bit low compared to modern units, and the superboon will greatly help her match the damage output of her foes.

Her other stats are all equally important, so taking -HP as a bane is the safest as it is the easiest to patch up with Legendary or Mythic allies.

+Atk for a +10 Merge Project

If you want to build a +10 merged Halloween Sothis, we recommend a +Atk IV. Her Atk is still low compared to modern units despite maximum merges, so the superboon will be greatly appreciated.

How to Use, Explanation

This is a more durable Halloween Sothis build that uses Dragon Wall over Dragon's Wrath. Atk/Spd Solo 4 is used over Spd/Res Solo 4 because Sothis' Res is already decent at 45 due to Spd/Res Solo 3 in the seal slot and Eerie Scripture providing stats. You may switch to Spd/Res Solo 4 if you want, but take note that it will reduce Sothis' damage output.

Halloween Sothis is a close magic attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Access to a Duo Skill!

Halloween Sothis is a Duo Hero and comes with a powerful Duo Skill.

Her Duo Skill grants herself and all allies within 2 spaces the 【Null Follow-Up】effect. This bonus neutralizes effects that guarantee foe's follow-up attacks and effects that prevent unit's follow-up attacks.

However, unlike the Null Follow-Up 3 passive skill, this bonus is reliant on the unit's Spd being greater than the foe's Spd during combat.

The Duo Skill also grants Special cooldown count -1 to herself and all allies within 2 spaces as long as their Special cooldown count is at its maximum value at the time of activation.

In Halloween Sothis' case, this reduces the cooldown of Sirius from 1 to 0, activating it and having it ready for her next attack!

Eerie Scripture is a powerful dragonstone with multiple effects that work together to ensure Halloween Sothis is victorious in combat.

Below is a summary of its effects:

3	Halloween Sothis can counterattack regardless of foe's range.
4	Grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 to Halloween Sothis during combat if foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75%
5	Calculates damage using the lower of foe's Def or Res if foe's Range = 2

Eerie Scripture is always at full power on enemy phase, while player phase requires the foe's HP to be at 75% or higher.

Make sure that these conditions are met to maximize the weapon's strengths!

Powerful and Easy to Activate Special Skill

Sirius, Halloween Sothis' Special skill, will deal an additional 30% of her Spd stat as damage, and it will additionally allow her to recover 30% of the damage dealt.

With its short cooldown of 1 thanks to Eerie Scripture's Special acceleration, Halloween Sothis will be activating Sirius multiple times throughout each battle!

Multiple Passive Bonuses Stack During Combat

Halloween Sothis receives multiple passive bonuses during combat.

Her A skill Atk/Spd Solo 4 grants Atk/Spd+7 if she has no adjacent allies, and her weapon Eerie Scripture grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+5 during combat if her foe initiates combat or if foe's HP ≥ 75%.

Halloween Sothis also comes with Atk/Spd Rein 3 which applies an Atk/Spd-4 debuff to all foes within 2 spaces of Halloween Sothis.

This skill indirectly buffs Halloween Sothis with Spd/Def/Res+4 during combat by reducing the foe's stats.

Dragon's Wrath 3 Provides Damage Reduction and Applies True Damage

Halloween Sothis is equipped with a new dragon exclusive skill on her kit.

Dragon's Wrath 3 reduces the damage from her foe's first attack by 20% on enemy phase.

In addition to the damage reduction, it also adds true damage equal to 20% of Halloween Sothis' Atk minus the foe's Res during combat, as long as Halloween Sothis' Atk > the foe's Res.

Damage reduction effects are rare for flying units, and this skill provides it for Halloween Sothis. The extra damage is also much appreciated, given her average Atk stat.

Halloween Sothis Weaknesses

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, Halloween Sothis takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

Mediocre Atk

Halloween Sothis' Atk stat is a bit low compared to modern units, sitting at base 36. This may cause her to miss KOs that other units would've gotten.

Having a superboon in Atk helps patch this up though, as well as ensuring that all of her skills are active. Most of her skills help boost her Atk through passive bonuses or true damage.
