When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Pelleas will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.
The best IVs for Pelleas are +Atk and -Def. A +Atk IV helps him deal more damage to enemies. His mediocre Def stat is of less importance to him and thus it is safe to take Def as a bane.
We recommend a +Atk IV when merging Pelleas to +10. His Atk is a superboon and maximizing his damage potential will help him win more matchups.

Pelleas is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Res stat.
Refined Vision of Daein grants Atk/Res+6, bonus Special charges per attack, and a warping effect to Pelleas and nearby allies at the start of each turn.
In combat, refined Vision of Daein neutralizes Atk/Spd penalties on Pelleas, grants Pelleas Atk/Spd/Def/Res+10, a guaranteed follow-up attack, bonus true damage equal to 15% of his Atk, 7 HP post-combat healing, and a Miracle effect.
The 7 HP post-combat healing and Miracle effect work well together, preventing Pelleas from being knocked out unless he is attacked twice in combat.
Pelleas unfortunately has a low base 21 Def stat which leaves him vulnerable to physical threats. Keep him away from foes that deal physical damage as much as possible.
Pelleas also faces competition from various red mages in the metagame, covering both offensive and defensive/supportive archetypes. Most of which have superior exclusive effects tied into their kits.
It will take significant investment for Pelleas to carve his own role in your barracks, but it is possible.

Pelleas has Rauðrlion+, Brazen Atk/Spd 3 and Atk/Res Oath 3 in his kit for Skill Inheritance. While Rauðrlion+ is unique to him, the other skills are found on more common sources elsewhere.
Pelleas is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
