When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.

Neutral IVs by default!

As a hero obtainable only through Grand Hero Battle, Díthorba will always have neutral IVs by default. The only way to access IVs for this unit is through using Trait Fruits.

+Spd/-Res

The best IVs for Díthorba are +Spd and -Res. A higher Spd stat allows Díthorba to get a ton of follow-up attacks on her foes. Her Res is of less importance and thus safe to be taken as a bane. Being mainly a Firesweep Lance+ user means that it is highly important that you land follow-up attacks on your foes.

+Spd for a +10 Merge

We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Díthorba to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. It is best to aim for follow-up attacks to increase her offensive ability as it is vital for Firesweepers to land follow-up attacks. If you prefer relying on skills and support to increase Díthorba's Spd, you can go for a +Atk IV instead.

How to Use, Explanation

This build maximizes her offenses. it is pretty easy to run as you only need to position her away from allies to get the bonuses from the skills she runs. Be warned that being adjacent to an ally completly shuts this build down!

How to Use, Explanation

To build around Firesweep L+, we chose to inherit Life and Death in both A and S slots as if a Firesweep build is executed correctly, defenses are to an extent irrelevant. Flier Formation 3 and Spd/Res Oath 3 are kept, but we suggest replacing Glacies with Moonbow as a low-cooldown, low-powered Special is enough for her to take foes out. You can get Life and Death 3 if you can't afford the tier 4 version, and you can also change B and C skills if you prefer. A skill to consider is Hit and Run for more kiting ability as you can completely avoid attacks if you combine it with an ally using Draw Back.

Díthorba is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Díthorba Strengths

Prevents Counterattacks with Firesweep Lance+

Even if Reginn, a fellow melee unit, survived Dithorba's attack, she cannot fight back.

Firesweep Lance+ makes Díthorba a formidable player phase unit as it prevents enemies from scoring counterattacks against her. Combined with her high Spd and Spd/Res Oath 3, she can eliminate a wide range of units in the player phase without taking damage. The downside to this is that she too can not score counterattacks on enemies. This is not too crippling as with awareness and strategy, you can turn Díthorba into a player phase attacker that can easily sweep enemy teams.

Flier Formation 3 grants extra mobility

Flier Formation 3 allows Díthorba to move to spaces that are adjacent to units 2 squares away. This allows Díthorba to potentially jump from unit to unit and help them through attacking nearby foes or by triggering skills that require an adjacent ally. This skill provides lots of strategic value if you are using at least two other flying units aside from Díthorba.

This can be very useful as a Firesweep unit too. If the ally Díthorba is warping to has Reposition or similar skills, you can successfully kite with some strategy especially if advantageous terrain is around.

Awarded when stacking Res

Díthorba's naturally decent Res stat combined with Spd/Res Oath 3 allows her to build tons of Res. This not only increases her durability against magic units, but it also increases her damage if she keeps Glacies in her kit.

This means that you can easily build a base Díthorba into a decent flier that has great matchups against magic users.

Díthorba Weaknesses

Weak to bows and low Def

As a flying unit, Díthorba takes 1.5x damage from bows and weapons effective on flying units. Be sure to keep them out of the range of archers and leave them to other units.

This weakness is compounded by her low Def level! It sits at 23 at Lv. 40 so use her flying mobility and Flier Formation 3 to keep her away! If she can, take said units out with her Firesweep L+ before they can get to her.

Obtain through a Grand Hero Battle

Díthorba is a Hero who, for a limited time, can be obtained through completing a Grand Hero Battle for the first time. They do not appear in regular summons. After the event has ended, they can be obtained by using Heroic Grails.
