Res (33) | ★★★☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
Mamori's best IVs are +Def and -Spd. With a superboon in Def, Mamori gains Def+4 with an asset, maxing out her already impressive Def stat. Her Spd is a rather useless stat as she will get follow-up attacks through her skills, so it is the ideal bane.
If you are trying to build a +10 Merge Mamori, +Atk is the best IV. With a +10 merge, Mamori's Def reaches 49, which is already plenty. Therefore, it would be wise to instead turn your focus to upping her damage output with an Atk asset. However, if you really want to prioritize defensive stats, +Def or +Res are still good options.

This build utilizes Mamori as a Near Save tank, taking melee hits for the entire team. Her overall bulk is incredibly high with this build, but her damage output will be lacking.

This is a budget build for Mamori, utilizing her as a frontline unit. Distant Guard stacks with the ally bonuses from refined Mirage Axe to protect allies should they ever get past Mamori.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |
---|---|
SP: 400 | |
Might: 16 Range: 1 HP: 3 Grants Res+3. If unit is within 3 spaces of an ally, grants Atk/Spd+4, Def/Res+6 to unit and foe cannot make a follow-up attack during combat, and also, if foe initiates combat, inflicts Atk/Def-X on foe during combat (X = number of foes who have yet to finish their actions × 3; min 6; max 12). For allies within 2 spaces of unit, grants Def/Res+4 to ally during that ally's combat and restores 7 HP to ally after that ally's combat. At start of combat, if unit's HP > 25%, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit during combat, reduces damage from attacks by 30% during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials), and restores 7 HP to unit after combat. :500 :200 |
|
Refined Mirage Axe supports allies by granting them Def/Res+4 during combat and 7 HP post-combat healing, making them tougher to bring down.
In combat, refined Mirage Axe grants Mamori Atk/Spd+8, Def/Res+10 and 30% damage reduction to Mamori, inflicts Atk/Def penalties to and denies follow-up attacks of her foes, and heals Mamori 7 HP after combat.
This weapon improves the team's overall defense, making it a useful weapon both for Mamori herself and her allies.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Mamori is a close ranged physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Mamori's exclusive weapon skill, Mirage Axe, will give her Def/Res+6 and prevent the enemy from making a follow-up attack when there is an ally within two spaces. This is an amazing skill to have on a tank like Mamori, as it both increases her defensive stats and reduces the amount of attacks received on her end.
Mamorr's B skill Vengeful Fighter gives her a guaranteed follow-up attack, as well as special cooldown charge +1, when the foe initiates combat. With her weapon skill and A slot skill Shield Session boosting her defensive skills, this unit can strike back with a follow-up and then trigger Bonfire to deal heavy damage to the foe. This unit is extremely tanky and is centered on absorbing the foe's attacks and then obliterating them in the counterattack.
Mamori's primary weakness is that she is weak to weapons like Armorslayer and Hammer, which deal 1.5x damage to armored units. Check your foe's weapons beforehand and watch out for anything that can inflict heavy damage.

Mamori can be used to inherit Shield Session or Vengeful Fighter. These are both powerful skills, but Mamori is a rather strong unit on her own, so we recommend keeping and building at least one Mamori before foddering off any duplicates.
Mamori is a Hero who can be pulled from any summon.
Note: Not currently a featured hero in any Summon events.
