I tried inheriting Far Save for Hector from Ascended Fjorm but the confirm button is grayed out for some reason. I just got Plumeria to go with Elimine and Corrin as support options for Hector if I can get him Far Save. I don't have any inherit options for Special Fighter yet.
Corrin M is better because he provides invisible buffs. By doing so, you will receive full visible buffs when they are given to Hector. Also, Astram does not provide the buffs to Hector; he keeps them for himself. Usually, Hector can tank and win the green matchups as well due to Corrin and Elimine/Flayn support. Corrin can be built to handle the green matchups that Hector can't win in one round by giving him something like Fury 4 to increase both damage and bulk.
Is Astram a viable replacement for Corrin M? I’m assuming Corrin M is being preferred because of him giving a invisible buff, but wouldn’t Astram be better at covering his weaker green matchups?
Brave Hector with Corrin M and Elimine/Flayn should be enough to keep him alive and healthy for multiple engagements, assuming he has his ideal build(s) equipped. This is what one of our writers personally runs for AR in most of his matches and he gets top 1k rank quite often.
Come to think of it, maybe if I got Far Save on Brave Hector with Mystic Boost and paired him with Elimine, Corrin (M), and Bridal Juno I could use him in a specialized 2nd team while prioritizing team skills to boost his Atk/Def/Res.
I really should get him Mystic Boost 3 then. I didn't attempt to yet because he wasn't taking mage attacks even normally, but I suppose it would give him a bit of a resistance boost. Because I run a mobile hit and run team with Dagr/Reginn/Otr I didn't really want to adjust the entire team just to boost his resistance, although I think my Elimine would be a good support in boosting Def/Res. I am hoping FEdelgard wins AHR so I can have her tank.
New Years Dagr really is a must have for any mobile hit and run team though because she provides one free space for all characters passing her and two free if her Duo is on, turning Reginn and Otr's hit and run range from 3 spaces into 4-5 (depending on whether Duo is on). She can advance in front, take out an opponent, and her space becomes a 1-2 movement boost. New Years Reginn/Fafnir could then strike from a ridiculous 6 spaces away and retreat back up to 4 spaces.
Brave Hector's strength relies on all the different effects of refined Maltet and how he can shut down entire teams on his own if supported even mildly. The rankings in our tier lists take inheritance and investment into account. Does your Brave Hector have Special Fighter and Far Save?
Brave Hector best utilizes Far Save skills with proper support such as Mythic blessing bonuses and ally supports like Corrin (M) or Brave Lucina. Without those, his Res will be too low to handle multiple attacks from mages, or even one from a hard hitting one. Mystic Boost is the best sacred seal for him in our opinion; it helps him sustain multiple attacks and cuts enemy staff units' damage in half by shutting down Wrathful Staff effects.
All of the people who already have Fallen Ethelgard seem horrified though at the idea she could be easily recruited.

Yes, Brave Hector, not Legendary Hector, sorry. Right now he is regularly going down in one shot from tough mages and isn't doing as well as a tank as Ascended Fjorm, who starts with Far Save. His stat line is too low on resistance, so maybe I need Mystic Boost. To me he seems closer to a 9.5 like Fjorm rather than overpowered the way Fallen Ethelgard is, but maybe I just haven't found a way to enhance him properly yet.

She can turn on her Duo skill to buff herself and penalize the enemy, and her space then boosts the movement range of Otr/Reginn by 2 squares instead of 1 ordinarily, allowing them to hit and run from 5 spaces away until turn 4.
We agree with moving NY!Dagr up to 9.5. In fact, we just did! We underestimated the Duo Skill upon release. However, now that we have experience and data on her performance, we feel she deserves 9.5 and have thus moved her up in today's update.
Did you mean Brave Hector instead of Legendary Hector? L!Hector is nowhere near the top tier heroes. B!Hector, on the other hand, deserves his 9.9 status because of his incredible bulk, access to both Near and Far Save as well as the ability to use them well, and the sheer power of refined Maltet. Players build their AR-D and Summoner Duel teams with B!Hector in mind, fielding units that can either severely damage or straight up defeat him in combat.
We recommend to wait for the AHR results so we have a good idea on who will be on the banner (someone might be extremely worth pulling for!) Since the Valentine's banner lasts a month, its plenty of time to make a decision.
Should I spend a lot of orbs on the valentines banner? I have good luck and always have the special socks on. I really want duo chrom and I have 100 orbs saved. Should I spend or save? F2P btw
Right now I am using New Year's Dagr with Ash, Otr, and Reginn, with Otr just replacing Peony, and Dagr is regularly the difference maker in taking down tanks due to her Duo skill swinging battles and allowing for lengthy distance attacks by canto teammates. She easily pulls her own wait with 9.5s as far as I'm concerned.
I'm not sure Legendary Hector should be a 9.9. He's only a 53-19-39-31 stat line at level 40 for me and hardly a great tank unit or even the best I have. Right now I'm not seeing his definite advantage over 9.5 Ascended Fjorm, who I also have.
I think New Year's Dagr is underrated at 9.0 and should be 9.5. She can do tremendous amounts of damage even with her basic skillset and her Duo skill not only boosts her own and team damage for taking down tough enemies while combining with her Jotnar Bow to further penalize enemies, but boosts team movement allowing for chain attacks, especially with high movement-units like Reginn and Otr.
It should be possible to teach Armorslayer+ to L!Ike and then refine the weapon to Armorsmasher+.
How do you get armorsmasher+? I'm trying to make an anti-fallen edelgard legendary Ike and I saw one with armorsmasher+ but apparently you can't inherit it. And if you can't inherit it, is armorslayer+ good enough?
Damn it think the only dancers i have that raise attack are the free peony you get, and i think green tome azura. Im not sure since i haven't looked her up yet. I just got dorothea too, i dont have flayn or any other healers besides veronica though i haven't been lucky with my colorless pulls
dancer supports that also increase her Atk would be great. This is to help her proc Heavy Blade 3. Then maybe a reliable magic user / attacker like Flayn who can also heal and provide damage reduction to Ash.
Can anyone tell me some good team options for galeforce ash?
