We recommend the Special Effect Refine for Light of Dawn

Simply refining Light of Dawn changes the base effect of the weapon to add a +4 bonus to each of Brave Micaiah's stats.

Brave Micaiah is a ranged magic attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage she deals will be equivalent to her Atk minus the foe's Res stat.

Brave Micaiah's Strengths

Exclusive weapon adds all active penalties onto damage dealt

Brave Micaiah's exclusive weapon Light of Dawn will add the total of a foe's penalties to the amount of damage she inflicts. This weapon has great syngergy with her other exclusive skill, Yune's Whispers, allowing her to debuff the Atk/Spd of multiple foes while piling on massive damage.

Weapon is effective on armored and cavalry untis

In addition to the effects stated above, Light of Dawn is also effective against armored and cavalry units. This means that she can deal heavy damage to these types of units even when there are no active penalties on them.

Can gain a huge Atk/Res buff while cancelling any penalties on these stats

Micaiah's A slot skill Atk/Res Bond 4 will give her Atk/Res+7 when she is agent to an ally. On top of that, it will nullify any active penalties on Atk/Res, reducing the amount of damage taken from magic attackers and letting her significantly increase her own damage output.

Brave Micaiah's Weaknesses

Weak to bows

As a flying unit, B!Micaiah will take heavy damage from bows and other skills that are effective on flying units. One shot from an archer like Legendary Alm or Brave Lyn will usually be lethal, so make sure you keep her out of the range of any bow wielding units.

Heroes that inflict penalties over a large area

Brave Micaiah's damage output increases significantly with active penalties on the foe, so pairing her with allies like Tibarn who can spread several debuffs on the foes is ideal. While Micaiah does have the ability to cast penalty on foes, having a team with several debuff skills will make her extremely effective.

Having a unit who does not struggle against red foes on your team will increase Micaiah's longevity. Powerful blue mages like Summer Laegjarn or Ophelia make great allies for this hero.
