The best IVs for Lethe are +Atk and -HP. A +Atk IV adds to her already high Atk stat. Lethe is an offensive attacker and a +Atk IV helps her be more effective in this role. She has decent Spd which can further be boosted by her skills. This prevents her from taking many follow-up attacks lowering her demand for HP. Because of this, HP is the best bane she can take.

How to Use, Explanation

This aim of this build to maximizes Lethe's Atk/Spd. The choice of Atk/Spd Push 4 is to provide another mechanic to get into Desperation 3 range. Once Desperation 3 is active, she can score one-sided matchups without taking damage.

Refined Brazen Cat Fang adds the offensive half of Null Follow-Up, bonus damage when Lethe's Special triggers, bonus stats during combat, accelerated Special charges, and a Guard effect onto the foe if she is transformed.

These effects are all very useful and improve Lethe's combat prowess both offensively and defensively. This refine is definitely worth using if Lethe is one of your favorite units.

Lethe is a close physical attacker (range = 1). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he/she deals will be equivalent to his/her Atk minus the foe's Def stat.

Lethe Strengths

Strong Solo Unit

Brazen Cat Fang can grant a total of +8 Atk and +6 Spd if Lethe is not adjacent to allies. In addition to that, Spd/Def Solo 3 grants Lethe +6 Atk/Spd if she is not adjacent to an ally in combat.

Both those add up to +14 Atk +12 Spd with an additional -4 Atk/Def inflicted to the foe if Lethe initiates combat in beast mode. Brazen Cat Fang also disables foe counterattacks if Lethe initiates combat. All these make Lethe an easy-to-use and straightforward offensive unit.

Buff Beasts' Offensive Power

Lethe's C skill, Hone Beasts boosts adjacent beast units' Atk/Spd by +6. It is powerful and pretty easy to trigger and this makes Lethe a good candidate for an all-around unit in all-beast teams.

Lethe Weaknesses

Weak to Anti-Cavalry Skills and Beast Effective Weapons

Lethe is a Cavalry unit making her weak to skills against such units such as Ridersbane+. If attacked by a unit with Ridersbane+, Lethe will take 1.5x damage. Be mindful of what skills your enemies are equipped with.

Additionally, she is also a beast unit making her weak to weapons like Brave Eliwood's Nini's Ice Lance. These kinds of weapons are less common, but look out for them nonetheless!

Low Res

Lethe's Res stat sits at only 19 at Lv.40. This makes her vulnerable to magic attacks especially those with the blue attribute. Thankfully, she has a decent Spd stat that allows her to be less susceptible to follow-up attacks. This won't save her from extra attacks from the weapons of Reinhardt and Soiree Ishtar as their weapons completely ignore Lethe's speed.

When dealing with magic units, look out for those who can counterattack her as she will take heavy damage because of her low Res. Thankfully, her weapon prevents ofes from counterattcking if she initiates attacks.
