What Are Operator Kills?

Killing Human-Controlled Enemies

Operator Kills are acquired by killing enemies controlled by real players. Eliminating AI-controlled bots will not count as an Operator Kill and in most game modes, will reward you with half the XP gained from killing real players.

Kill Enemy Operators in Multiplayer Matches

Playing the core multiplayer game modes will put you in a match against human-controlled players. Each kill will count as an Operator Kill since they are primarily controlled by human players.

However, in the Invasion game mode there will be a mix of AI enemies alongside the opposing team — killing them will not count as an Operator Kill.

All Multiplayer Game Modes

Engage in PvP Fights in Battle Royale

Fighting against other squads in Battle Royale will net you Operator Kills. You can view your total Operator Kills while in-game by opening your scoreboard.

The scoreboard will show you a separate kill-counter for Operators and AQ soldier kills.

How to Play Battle Royale

Hunt Down Players in DMZ

Killing enemy Operators that you'll run into while playing DMZ will count as an Operator Kill. While DMZ's primary goal is to loot and scavenge for cash and contraband, there will be multiple times where you will encounter enemy Operators and AI enemies.
