Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II (MW2 2022) just pushed a small patch to live on November 10, 2022. Included in the small update is a PC-only fix for known NVIDIA GPU driver issues that caused graphics bugs while playing the game. Read on for a full list of changes including how to download and update MW2 and your GPU driver.

NVIDIA Driver Fix To Address Flashing Corruption

The November 10 Modern Warfare 2 PC update seeks to address a known issue with an NVIDIA GPU driver that causes flashing corruption to appear on your screen while playing the game. To get the update, simply log-in to your Steam or Battle.net launchers and allow the game to auto-update before launching.
Download NVIDIA Driver 526.86 to Solve the Issue
After the update is applied, starting the game will show you a pop-up window asking you to update your GPU driver. Head over to NVIDIA's website to download GeForce Game Ready Driver 526.86 to fix the issues related to the game.

Listed in the changelog are a list of fixes for games affected by the faulty NVIDIA driver. The following Game Ready Driver fixes related to Call of Duty titles are listed below:
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II: Flashing corruption can be seen randomly while playing the game.
- Call of Duty: Vanguard:Game may randomly crash after extended gameplay.
