Al Mazrah City is one of the hot drop zones for a lot of players in Warzone 2.0 BR. If you're feeling brave and looking for a fight, you can go into its sector to find some good targets. You can drop in on the zone north of it to gear up before hunting down enemies in Al Mazrah City.
That way, you will most likely avoid getting shipped into the Gulag right after jumping from the plane, and you might take home several kills as well!

Hafid Port, although somewhat at the edge of the map, is the ideal spot for players who want to play safe and avoid encounters. It has a good set of contracts and a nearby Buy Station, which will help you get an early customized loadout. There's a good chance of a nearby Stronghold spawning there too, as there are ten possible Stronghold areas in that sector!
Aside from those, there is also a variety of transportation scattered around the area. You can use those if you're outside the circle and it's starting to close in.

Drop into Al Malik Airport if you're looking to get fully geared up before taking on enemies on the map. Al Malik Airport houses tons of loot boxes containing kitted weapons, Killstreaks, Cash, and Field Upgrades. There's also a Buy Station near it, meaning it's possible to get your customized loadout early in the match! Al Malik Airport is also not a hot drop zone. Usually, only several players or teams land on it.
Also, you can try with a Sniper loadout at the start, as there are a lot of open spaces and high ground at Al Malik Airport. Change it later on if the terrain demands it!

If you're looking for free kills, you can start by targeting the AFK players that will fall at the last possible dropping area. It's also pretty useful if you have a mission that requires killing, as you can finish it quickly for some juicy XP.
Getting to an advantageous location using this strategy relies heavily on the plane's course, so check your map first and see if the area of the last drop is beneficial! Also, note that players going AFK won't always happen in a match.
