Warzone 2.0 is a highly anticipated free to play battle royale that serves as a sequel to its predecessor, Call of Duty: Warzone (2020). Infinity Ward is looking to introduce fresh features with the introduction of the Al Mazrah map, the new DMZ game mode, and a third-person playlist.

Both veterans and newcomers to the massive battle royale game mode can expect to experience Warzone 2.0 free of charge. Players can even redeem rewards available in the free tiers of the Battle Pass.

This comes as a pleasant surprise to individuals that have been playing Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer as they will not have to worry about customizing loadouts for their preferred weapons.

In the same blog, Infinity Ward provided a sneak peek of items available for Season 1 of Warzone 2.0. With a newly implemented battle pass system that takes the form of a multi-Sector map, players can expect up to 100+ new items to upgrade and purchase.

Additionally, Infinity Ward revealed other items that can be purchased through the in-game store.
