Is Plunder Coming to Warzone 2?

There is currently no official announcement from the developers regarding the return of Plunder mode to Warzone 2.

Fans have been eager for a return of the game mode ever since it was first made popular back in the original Warzone and, much to the dismay of veteran players, there's still no news nor even the slightest hint about a re-introduction of Plunder.

What is Plunder?

Original Warzone Game Mode

Plunder was a game mode in the first Warzone where players would have to collect cash scattered across the map and reach a certain monetary goal in order to claim victory in a match.

The game would be played in a similar fashion as Battle Royale where 150 players would be deployed in the map and would start looting money in a race against other squads towards the required cash goal.

All players also had infinite respawns and would not be permanently eliminated if ever they get killed, which made it appealing for casual players or for those looking for a relaxed game mode.
