DMZ and Battle Royale

Warzone 2.0 launched with both the classic Warzone Battle Royale mode and a new Extraction game mode called DMZ, where you'll be fighting AI as well as other Operators in order to complete missions and earn rewards. Both game modes take place in the new map named Al Mazrah.

What is Warzone 2.0?

Brand New Battle Royale Game

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 is a completely free-to-play, standalone Battle Royale game, where a large number of players fight it out in a free-for-all to be the last man standing.

Warzone 2.0 is a separate experience from the first Warzone game and Modern Warfare 2, which means that players will be able to play Warzone 2.0 without installing either game.

Extension of Modern Warfare 2

Warzone 2.0 will have a shared universe with Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Mobile. This means that your Battle Pass progress, and any unlocked weapons and Operators will be shared across all three games.
