Point Blank kills can be done by eliminating enemy operators less than 5 meters away from you in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (MW2) and Warzone 2.0. Read on to learn how to get point blank kills, a list of Camos unlocked by obtaining point blank kills, and the best strategies for getting kills at point blank range!

Point-blank kills are achieved by killing an opponent positioned less than 5 meters away from you. You'll be rewarded with 135 XP for eliminating opponents from this distance.
NOTE: Killing enemies with melee weapons will not count as a point blank kill. You will have to use guns to kill enemies at close-range to register a point blank kill.

Double Time allows you to quickly navigate the map and get close to an enemy for an easy point blank kill opportunity, as it prolongs the duration of Tactical Sprint and increases crouch movement by 30%.
As Call of Duty is a game where the heat of the battle around you happens too fast, you'll want to utilize this perk to reposition quickly and sneak up behind your opponents.
On small-scale maps, camping close to a doorway provides the best opportunity for a point blank kill as you won't get suspected by hiding on the corner of the doorway. Before engaging your opponents, wait for them to pass by and shoot them from behind.
Shock Stick | Can be used to stun enemies and destroy equipment, allowing you to close in for a kill. |
---|---|
Stun Grenade | Can be used to slow enemy movement and aim, allowing for a point blank kill. |
Flash Grenade | Can be used to blind and deafen your enemies, allowing you to close in for a point blank kill. |
Tear Gas | Use this to flush out enemies from camping spots, allowing you to get them point blank as they leave. |
Dead Silence | Makes your footsteps silent for a short time. Allows you to push up to enemies without them knowing. |
Players can also use Tactical Equipment and Field Upgrades to make pushing to close range easier, especially when dealing with players who are camping buildings or holding chokepoints.
