Modern Warfare 2 - High Ground

High Ground is a co-op Spec Ops mission featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Read on for a complete walkthrough of High Ground including the locations of all intel fragments, the list of weapons found in the mission, and the rewards obtained from completing the mission.

Choose Which Team You're Joining

Modern Warfare 2 - Choose a Team

To choose Demon Dogs, pick the helicopter on your right. To choose Helo team, pick the helicopter on your left.

This Spec Ops mission lets you choose between being on the Demon Dogs or Helo team. Demons Dogs will be on the ground and responsible for raiding the different points of interest while Helo team will provide cover from above.

For players that wish to gather Intel Fragments, you will need to select Demon Dogs as Helo team will be in the helicopter for the whole mission. For players that just want to complete this mission, you may choose to join either of the teams.

Communications Equipment Bug

The location for each of the Communications Equipment change with each map and there might be instances where the equipment will be invisible.

To work around this, have your Helo team ping its location and shoot at that location. This should allow you to destroy the communications equipment and pick up the Armored Hard Drive.

As Helo Team

Since the Helo team will be in the helicopter for the entirety of the mission, your focus will be on directing the Demon Dogs to the communications equipment as well as providing them air support.

Turn on your Thermal Vision to ping the communications equipment for your team and to spot enemies better.

On the ground floor of the first objective, pick up the Intel on the table.

In a shed outside, use your Geiger counter to pick up the Intel.

In the 2nd floor of the 2-storey house, pick up the Intel from the shelf.

In that same 2-storey house, there is another piece of Intel on the stairs.

On the single-storey house, there will be a piece of Intel on the table beside the stove.

In the garden outside the third objective, use your Geiger counter to locate the Intel. It should be beside a tree and a step stool.
