New Update Fixes Recent Bugs
Infinity Ward has recently released a tweet announcing a new update for Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer. Recent reports and clips in the internet about the bipod mount glitch, care package bug, and missing killstreak & perk bug has reached Infinity Ward's development team as they stated fixes in their new update.

Bipod Mount Glitch
The bipod mount glitch occurs when players equip the bipod on sniper rifles and mount in between slopes & flat surfaces. This results in the player flying in the air to perform trick shots. Infinity Ward has taken notice of this glitch after several clips have appeared in the internet and effectively disabled the bipod mount for the time being.
Care Package Bug
Recent reports from players indicate an infinite care package bug in the hardpoint game mode. In this bug, care packages constantly appear on the map even though players are not calling these in. Infinity Ward addressed this bug in their tweet and has included a fix for this glitch in the recent update.
Missing Killstreak & Perk Bug
Another apparent bug fix in the recent update of Infinity Ward addresses the missing killstreak & perk bug. Some players in multiplayer matches have reported that killstreaks and perks seem to be disappearing in-game. This problem is expected to be fixed once the new update has been installed.
