List of Contents
Groups are a new social feature in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0. It allows players to create and invite other players to join their circle, similar to having a clan in some Call of Duty titles.
Although there's no official word yet, it might require you to reach a specific level in the game to create one. Groups will come out on December 14, along with other content for Season 1 Reloaded.
You can create a Group on the Social Menu once it drops on December 14. You can edit several settings on the Group after making it, like changing the Group Tag, Icon, and more! Note that each Group can have a maximum of 5,000 members.
Labels | Description |
---|---|
Call of Duty–based | Preferences on CoD Game Modes, Warzone 2.0 or MWII. It can also be based on Player Experience such as Veterans Only or New Player Friendly |
Vibe-based | Out-of-game interests. It could be gaming, entertainment, sports, or other similar topics. |
Community-based | Defines the main goal of the group. Either competitive or casual gaming. |
Other Categories | Outside of the game Groups, including Groups affliated with content creators or connected to a Call of Duty League team. |
Since players have different goals in mind when trying to get into a group, the Label Feature will do the work to seperate the ones who want to get a party to play with or friends to talk with.
