Some of the easier game modes you can play to rack up objective defense kills are Domination, Hardpoint, and Ground War. All is fair when trying to rack up objective defense kills for in-game challenges. Resort to camping your team's objective in order to maximize your defense kills with each map. Set up Claymores, Proximity Mines, or Suppression Mines to make getting kills easier, especially when the enemy team liks pushing the objective.
