Lost Soul Aside Story Plot
Lost Soul Aside takes place in a world torn apart by war, and will follow the journey of Kazer, who finds himself fused with a supernatural race known as the Arena. As they are bonded, they are able to communicate with each other and must help each other survive. The symbiote takes the form of a shadowy floating dragon head that can transform into a variety of weapons on the fly.
Trust each other and survive against the countless onslaught of enemies that stand in your way!
Lost Soul Aside Gameplay
Lost Soul Aside is a character-action spectacle-fighting game that is heavily inspired by Final Fantasy XV. The developer himself, Bing Yang, stated that he started working on the game due to seeing footage of Final Fantasy XV back in 2014 (when it was still known as Final Fantasy Versus XIII). The inspiration clearly shows, as Kazer, the protagonist, shares several similarities with Noctis’s moveset, and even his appearance to an extent. However, the combat is far from similar, being much more in line with the depth of Devil May Cry, being able to string along combos and switch between weapons on the fly.
Lost Soul Aside’s gameplay feels and looks like Noctis from FFXV was plopped into a Devil May Cry game with his Armigers Unleashed without a limit, allowing him to utilize all Royal Arms harmoniously to stylishly and efficiently defeat his enemies.

The 18 minutes of new gameplay trailer is a full extended look at the progress the game’s combat, environment, and story has made. It features two boss fights, a chase sequence, common enemy encounters, and fully animated and voiced cutscenes.
