Fictitious Wordsmithing Best Teams

Use Fire and Ice Characters

Most of the enemies in the first half of the fight are weak to Fire and Ice attacks. Characters such as Herta, Himeko, Topaz, or Jingliu will be effective in this half!

Use Imaginary and Lightning Characters

Lightning and Imaginary characters such as Imbibitor Lunae, Dr. Ratio, or Kafka will be able to help you in this fight as all of the enemies are weak to both elements.

Deceitful Chaos Best Teams

Use Physical and Ice Characters

All in the First Half are weak to Physical. Ice is also a great element to use since most enemies here are weak to it.

Use Lightning and Wind Characters

All enemies in Wave 1 and 2 are weak to Lightning and Wind. You can also use Fire characters since all enemies in Wave 3 are weak to them.

How to Beat Stage 4 - Fictitious Wordsmithing

Fictitious Wordsmithing First Half

Inflict Weakness Break on Malefic Ape

The Malefic Ape's Wrathful Roar gives it three stacks of Gusto. Any character that uses their Skill while the Malefic Ape still has Gusto stacks will get Monitor and locked onto.

To avoid this, inflict Weakness Break on the Malefic Ape. Alternatively, you can have your Tank or Healer use their Skill to draw the Monitor debuff instead of your DPS.

Get Bonus Points From Trotters

In Wave 2, you will encounter Sequence Trotters on the field. Defeating the Trotter will reward you with bonus points, so make sure to defeat it before it escapes!

Focus on Other Enemies Before Bronya

Bronya can Advance Forward and dispel debuffs on her allies, so focus on taking them out first. Once all the enemies have been eliminated, you can damage Bronya's Toughness and then take her out!

Fictitious Wordsmithing Second Half

Defeat The Sequence Trotters for Bonus Points

Much like the first half, you can again encounter Sequence Trotters in Wave 2. Defeat them quickly to get more points but try not to anger Dreamjolt Troupe's Mr. Domescreen as they appear in the same turn as the Warp Trotters.

Use Skill Points During Secondary Combustion

In the Secondary Combustion state, Stellaron Hunter: Sam becomes stronger but consumes their HP with every attack. Also, Skill Points become combusted. This means that every time a character uses a Skill Point, they will receive Fire DMG.

Use Skill Points to attack Sam and dispel the Secondary Combustion state to deal increased damage to them!

How to Beat Stage 4 - Deceitful Chaos

Deceitful Chaos First Half

Target the Silvermane Lieutenant

For both Wave 1 and Wave 3, focus on taking down the Silvermane Lieutenant to prevent him from entering the Counter state. This will prevent a lot of DMG taken in the process.

Prioritize the Bubble Hounds

In Wave 2, prioritize your attacks on the Bubble Hound enemies to inflict other enemies with the Bleed DoT. Afterward, take out the enemies affected with Bubble Hound's Bleed DoT since they also have their SPD buffed.

Get Bonus Points From Sequence Trotters

Also in Wave 2, you will encounter Sequence Trotters on the field. Defeating a Trotter will reward you with bonus points, so make sure to focus all your attacks on it before it escapes!

Deceitful Chaos Second Half

Take Out the Automaton Spiders

For Wave 1, take out the Automaton Spider enemies first to deal Fire DMG to the Decaying Shadow. Since the Decaying Shadow is weak to Fire, her toughness will also be reduced.

Prioritize the Winder Goon

In Wave 2, prioritize your attacks on the Winder Goon enemies to prevent them from putting all other units in front of the turn order.

Get Bonus Points From Sequence Trotters

Just like in the first half, take out a Sequence Trotter as soon as they appear to earn a lot of bonus points.
