Ok, so i did a few timing tests and the right time doesnt seem to be 3.9 seconds but 5 seconds, would be helpful to change taht in the Info on this page.
Incase anyone is wondering, Lundle only has 20 rosaries. So at a minimum, you need to beat him 6 times to get the dice.
Not really sure where the number 14 comes from in this guide. All I did was count Hornet's hand shaking left and right. Her hand shines on the 10th "left and right" cycle.
I didnt find him in act 1 or 2,so i tried to find him in act 3 but only the boss was there,and after i defeated sadly i only found NOTHING. turns out in act 3 he is dead,and his dice is sold by grindle.. :/
I Legit thought this is just a small cute, endless minigame ...until Act 3 happened That small heartbreak when I saw his dice is now being sold by Grindle

The 14 shakes trick saved Hornet from bankruptcy.
I got them by pressing the button and release, then I held down the button for a little bit, like half a second. Hornet will do the grunt and the dice will flash. Worked Everytime.
I found that counting the first moment she grabs the dice and moves as 1, and thus counting to 15 to be way easier and repeatable. It makes the starting point much clearer and easier to notice, which in turn makes the rhythmic counting to 15 smoother.
Counting to 6 Mississippi worked for me.
This NPC turned out to be dead and I just took the cubes from the ground, I don't know why.
When Hornet throws dice her hand will do an "up and down" animation. If you count every time Hornet lowers her fistful of dice 13 times and drop them, its a win every time. Dice will shine, she will do a noise.
Grindle sells it to you in Act 3 for 300 monies.
I didn't encounter it in Act 1 and 2, but when I tried to find it in Act 3, it wasn't there. There was only the beetle from the hunting quest (the beetle hunter with his steed). Does this mean that I can no longer obtain this item, or is it in a different location now?
I tried doing it that way and kept struggling.
I had best luck counting to ten with the dice shakes and it'll flash when you throw it. Its a kind of fast count. Basically add one every time the dice go back and forth and that worked good.
The dice flash lightly one time in Hornet's hand when you need to let go.
