The Crawfather moves slowly and has a small arena. Using tools that can take advantage of his slow movement will be the most effective to win the fight.
Pairing Pollip Pouch with Cogfly and Rosary Cannon works great against the Crawfather due to the boss's slow movement. In particular, the Cogfly also helps you deal with the minions.
Fractured Mask or Warding Bell should be enough to help you survive the fight.
Witch Crest's Silk Bind attack is effective against the Crawfather's slow movement and its minions.
How to Beat Crawfather

Move and Attack Fast
The Crawfather moves slowly throughout the fight, making it easy for you to hit it. Take advantage of the boss's slow movement by moving and attack fast.
Use Cogfly to deal damage passively and bombard the boss with bullets using Rosary Cannon from range. Change position if the boss gets close, then continue attacking from range.
Attack When He Summons Minions
The Crawfather will occassionally summon minions to his side to attack you. When he does this, he stops for a few seconds to summon the minion, leaving you a decent time window to attack freely. Use this time window to deal some damage for free.
Deal with Minions First
When the Crawfather summons a minion to attack you, it's best to get rid of it first before focusing on the Crawfather again since having a minion floating around can be a nuisance.

The Crawfather slams his beak to the ground multiple times while moving forward. The best way to dodge the attack is by going behind the Crawfather.
Dive Attack

The Crawfather flys in the air for a few seconds, then quickly dives diagonally downward with its beak. You need to quickly move away from the boss to dodge the attack. If you're near a wall, you can wall jump instead.

The Crawfather summons a minion to attack you. It's best to get rid of the minion first to remove the nuisance.

The Crawfather jumps into the air, pauses briefly, then shoots multiple chains in different directions, which latch onto whatever they hit. You need to find a gap between the chains and stay there until the chains disappears
