The Thread Storm is a Silk Skill that is great for fighting bosses in tight spaces like the Voltvyrm.
While the Voltvyrm doesn't have a lot of attacks, its AoEs make it difficult to find opportunity to bind. Because of this, we recommend bringing the Warding Bell to shield you while you heal.
The Magnetite Dice will also help with your survivability. Although its effect is random, there is a chance that you will get no damage if you get hit.
To help with damage, the Flintslate can imbue your hits with fire and can increase the damage you inflict on the Voltvyrm.
The Reaper Crest will help you get a wider hit range with its crescent slash. Another effect of the Reaper's Crest is that if you manage to successfully heal, hitting the enemy will release Silk Orbs that you can collect to fill your Silk Gauge faster.
The Witch Crest can also be used against the Voltvyrm. Its fast attack speed and long range can help you deliver more strikes in a short amount of time.

The Voltvyrm can be found within the Voltnest located at the top of the Sands of Karak. To get there, you will need to climb up a hidden path leading to the area.

In the long vertical area in Sands of Karak, perform a Super Jump or use the Clawline beside the stone fences on the right. This will shoot you directly into a hidden opening leading to a small extension. You will need to pogo over some spikes then climb up the wall to reach a subarea called the Voltnest. Traversing to the end of the Voltnest, you will be able to locate the Voltvyrm.

After an electric comes down, immediately dash in the direction of the pillar. This will give you more room to move around and will prevent you from being trapped in the path of the other pillars.

The Voltvyrm only moves in between attacks, so you will have a lot of opportunity to slash at it. The prime time to attack Voltvyrm is before it summons its AoEs. There is brief window where it will charge itself up before unleashing its electric attacks.

While Voltvyrm is easy to hit, don't make the mistake of jumping too high to reach it. When it is pulsing with electricity, Votlvyrm's tentacles will light up. Regardless of which part of the ceiling you jump to, you will lose a mask.
Sparks of electricity surround the arena, telegraphed by circular AoEs.
Pillars of electricity appear in the arena. They start from outwards going inwards, or vice versa.
Volt Filament can be used to add electric damage to Hornet’s Silk Skills. You can do this by equipping the Volt Filament in a slot in any of your crests.
