Reach Swift's Race Course in Far Fields
To start the Fastest in Pharloom Wish, you'll need to reach Swift's race course, which is located on the northeasternmost side of the Farfields. This area can only be accessed in Act 3, once you have obtained the Silksoar.

Dash on Race Start to Get a Speed Boost
If you time your dash at the third gong of the race, you'll be able to get a huge temporary burst of speed. It's a small distance that can be occupied by the dash, but it helps with getting the lead at the start of the race.
Attack Swift to Delay Him
Attacking Swift will cause him to topple and slow down for a short period. Use this to your advantage by swinging your weapon when near Swift or using the Clawline to stagger him and reclaim the lead.
Use Clawline to Skip Certain Obstacles
Another use of the Clawline while in the racetrack (aside from a lengthy dash) is that it gives you access to a long-distance mid-air dash. Use this to skip over certain obstacles like the pogo balloons, which severely hamper your pacing if you use it to jump around the race course.
Consider using Faydown Cloak + Clawline to skip several parts of a race and decrease your race time!
Use the Beastling Call to Forfeit the Race
If you fall off-track, it is nearly impossible to claim the win in the race. If this happens, use the Beastling Call to summon Swift's beetle and forfeit the race. This will let you start a new round with a potentially better run.

You will obtain a different reward depending on the number of times you beat Swift in a race. There are three track difficulties and every win you snatch against Swift will make the next track more difficult to race on.
Obtain the Sprintmaster Memento After the Old Hearts Wish
If you have completed the Old Hearts wish, defeating Swift on the third track will let you get the Spintmaster's Memento, which is an item that you can display in your home in Bellhart.
