How to Start Rite of the Pollip
Speak to Greyroot in Shellwood
Players can begin the Rite of the Pollip quest by speaking to Greyroot in Shellwood. They can be found in the room past the large vertical platforming section.
How to Complete Rite of the Pollip
Gather 6 Pollip Hearts
You will need to get 6 Pollip Hearts for the Rite of the Pollip quest. Pollip Hearts can be obtained from Pollip Flowers in Shellwood.
Get the Cling Grip First
Before proceeding, be sure to obtain the Cling Grip first, as you'll need to use the wall jump function to reach several areas that contain the Pollip Flower.

Pollip Heart 1
From the bench in the center of Shellwood, climb the platforms to the left and enter the room. You'll need to pogo jump off the white flowers to reach the Pollip Flower at the top.

From the bench in the center of Shellwood, use the lift to the right to reach the northern part of the zone, then enter the room to the right. Follow the platform sequence leading to the upper left of the zone.
Once you reach the entrance to the Sister Splinter's zone, head to the passage to the top, then head up and then left. You'll see a Pollip Flower there. Destroy it, then enter the zone it opens up. You'll find another Pollip Flower here that will drop the Pollip Heart.

From the bench, climb right, then enter the first passage to the right leading to Bellhart. Jump down the platform to find a brittle wall. Destroy it to find the Pollip Heart.

From the bench, drop down to the right, then glide to the right once again. Climb the platforms until you reach the flower.

From the same bench, head north-west and follow the path until you reach the same room. Immediately climb the platforms instead of entering the room. The Pollip Flower will be easily visible after crossing the center of the room's platforms.

Enter the bottom room to the left (again starting from the same bench) and use the lift to reach the bottom part of the area. Jump on the top of the lift and continue platforming while heading north-east. You'll immediately find the flower after nearing the upper corner of the room.
Rite of the Pollip Rewards
Obtain the Pollip Pouch
You can obtain the Pollip Pouch after completing the quest. This is a charm that grants poison to your tools, which makes it effective against high HP enemies.
