Equip the Rune Rage ability so that you have an AoE attack with wide coverage, enabling you to target both Signis and Gron while dodging through their attacks in the area.
The Cogwork Wheel works best against Signis, as he only stays on the ground for the duration of the boss fight. It can also work against Gron, but it can be tricky given that he jumps around the area.
Tacks can gradually damage both Signis and Gron when strategically scattered throughout the area. Lure them to where you are after you've laid out the Tacks so that they acquire damage while approaching you.
Magma Bell will help a lot during this boss fight, as most of the Forebrothers' attacks deal with fire. Fractured Mask can also give you a health mask that helps prolong your survivability during the fight.
It is also recommended to equip the Reaper Crest, since its crescent slash has a wider range and makes pogo-ing a lot easier. This crest also has a special effect where it can generate Silk Balls when you attack enemies directly after healing. Collecting them will recharge your silk faster.
If you want to maximize your tool use, you can also equip the Architect Crest in this fight. The Architect Crest has 3 Red Tool slots, but in exchange, it sacrifices the Silk Skill slot. This build makes you more aggressive with your tools, keeping your damage uptime even when you are away from the enemy.
Forebrothers Signis and Gron Location
Located at Southwest Area of Deep Docks
The Forebrothers can be found at the southwest area of Deep Docks. You will need to unlock the Grappling Hook to gain access to the area. Signis will be first encountered once you've reached the area, then Gron will eventually appear as the battle progresses.

Use Rune Rage to Deal AoE Damage
Rune Rage allows you to deal AoE damage against Signis and Gron, provided that you can pull it off while dodging through their attacks. When timed correctly, you can deal damage to the Forebrothers at the same time.

The Cogwork Wheel can be an effective tool against Signis, as he only moves around the surface during the fight. It can also be used against Gron, but it can be tricky to time the attack, given that Gron jumps around the area.

Use Tacks to Gradually Damage Bosses
Use Tacks to gradually damage both Sigris and Gron while they navigate the area. Choose an area where you can scatter the Tacks, and lure them to where you are so that they incur damage when they approach you.
Prioritize Defeating the Minions First
Take out the Minions first when they appear during the fight, as the area can be more difficult to navigate if enemies are swarming all around.
Avoid Spewing Lava From Above
As the fight continues, you will encounter lava spewing from above the area. You can anticipate when the lava falls by checking the ceiling area and spotting some lava that begins to appear.

Combo Attack
Signis unleashes a combo attack with his spear. This can be avoided by jumping away from the range of his attack.
Spinning Spear Attack
Signis spins his spear and throws it forward. It can be dodged by gaining distance or jumping above its trajectory.
Spear Throw
Gron throws his spear on the ground after jumping in midair. Avoid the spear by rushing below Gron or jumping away from where the spear will land.
Dive Attack
Gron jumps in the air and lunges his spear down on the ground. The attack has a burst effect when it hits the ground, so make sure to get some distance from where the spear lands.
