Ecstasy of the End

Ecstasy of the End is a Wayfarer Wish in Hollow Knight: Silksong. Read on to see a full walkthrough to completing the side quest, rewards, how to start and its objectives.

How to Start Ecstasy of the End

Locate all Fleas in Act 3

This wish will only become available after finding all fleas, and having entered act 3. Hornet can then accept the wish at the Songclave Wishwell.

Locate all the Missing Fleas

To begin the quest, you'll first need to locate all the missing Fleas in the game. This involves the NPC Fleas as well such as Vog and Kratt.

All Silksong Flea Locations

Accept the Wish in Songclave

Once you've found all the Fleas, return to Songclave and accept the wish from the wishwell. If the wish doesn't appear yet, wait til some time has passed by exploring other areas first then accept the quest to continue.

Become the Champion With all Flea Challenges

Challenge Host Objective
Flea Bounce Kratt Use the fleas to bounce around the area. Lose after falling to the water/raft.
Required Score: 43+
Flea Juggler Fleamaster Mooshka Prevent Fleas from touching the ground. Hit them with vertical strikes to bounce them back up.Lose the round after dropping 3 fleas.
Required Score: 31+
Flea Dodge Vog Avoid falling down the platforms. Flea tackles and Vog's projectiles will push Hornet on the direction of the attack. Lose after touching the ground.
Required Score: 66+

After you return to the Flea Caravan in Fleatopia, you'll be prompted to tackle the challenges prepared by the Flea Caravan.

Flea Bounce Guide

・ Use Crests With Good Pogo Attacks
・ Clawline to Bounce Horizontally

For the Flea Bounce mini-game, we highly recommend using a Crest with a good Pogo attack. While this may ultimately be up to the player's preference, certain Crest have wider hits such as the Reaper Crest or more vertical-focused pogo attacks such as the Witch Crest.

Using the Clawline also lets you bounce off of fleas that are positioned horizontally from you and you do not suffer from contact damage as well while doing this which makes it the next best tool to use after a regular pogo attack.

Lastly, equip the Longclaw as it extends your pogo attack range which can be the difference between a failed hit and a successful run.

Flea Juggler Guide

To complete the Flea Juggler minigame, we highly recommend managing a Flea's bounce direction.

A vertical Attack can change a flea's direction such as when its bounce direction is heading right, hitting it with a vertical attack may change its direction to left. On the flipside, attacking with a horizontal hit will make the flea bounce to the direction Hornet is facing. This means that you can control a flea's bounce and make them focus on the center of the stage.

・ Use the Drifter's Cloak
・ Pay Attention to Shaking Platforms

For the Flea Dodge guide, be sure to always check when Fleas will howl and their howl backswing direction. The Flea's howl's backswing shows which direction they will fly to so use this to your advantage.

Also consider floating using the Drifter's Cloak instead of landing on a platform early as there may be multiple fleas attacking that elevation.

And lastly, platforms that shake will disappear after a short duration so consider hopping to a different platform ASAP when this happens.

Obtain a Pale Oil

The main reward for completing the Ecstasy of the End wish is a Pale Oil. An item you can use to further enhance your Needle's damage by providing the oil to Pin Master Plinney.

Dunno about you guys, but I didn't get it from a wish wall, I randomly visited the flee caravan and was given the wish from the lead flea.
