Having the Threadstorm ability allows you to cast a wide AoE attack whenever Widow is using the Bell Drop and Bell Wave ability.
The Warding Bell tool can shield you from attacks that you cannot dodge while you heal. Any attacks that connect with your shield will instantly get countered, unleashing a shockwave that hits any enemy within the vicinity.
If you have completed the Rite of the Pollip wish, you can use the Pollip Pouch in this fight. The Pollip Pouch coats your tools with poison, dealing continuous damage for a short amount of time. The best tool to pair this up with would be the Threefold Pin, which lets you throw three projectiles at the same time at different angles. This makes it difficult for the enemy to dodge.
The Reaper Crest's slow but stronger moveset is effective during this fight since its crescent slash allows you to hit Widow with a bit more distance. The Reaper Crest also has a special effect where if you attack an enemy after healing yourself, it will release Silk Balls that you can collect to refill your Silk faster.
However, if you have not gotten the Reaper Crest, the Hunter Crest is a good alternative to use. Its swifter and more precise move range can get multiple strikes in while leaving you enough space to dodge Widow's attacks.

Widow is a boss located at Bellhart. The Clip Grip is required to traverse the area leading to her boss room.

Widow's main opening is when she's pulling on silk strings to drop a bell on Hornet. She's prone for a few seconds when she's using this attack, giving you enough time to hit her a couple of times before she moves to another part of the stage.

Golden silk threads indicate where Widow's bells will drop on the stage. These often drop straight down the stage, but Widow may throw them diagonally so make sure to pay attention to the position of the threads.
You can easily avoid not taking damage from Widow's Bell Wave attack by simply pogoing on the bells. If you jumped too early, you can glide via the Drifter's Cloak to slow down your descent!
Although it takes a bit of timing, you can knock back the bells if you do not have enough space to move. However, this is better used as a last resort. Since the fight can get really fast later on, staying in one spot might be more detrimental than it is beneficial.

Especially during Phase 1 of the Widow boss fight, you'll mainly want to use your silk to heal Hornet instead of casting abilities such as Thunder Storm and Silk Spear. Ideally, before Phase 2 starts, Hornet should have a full health and silk. So, you have more room for error when Widow tries to overwhelm you with her attacks.

Widow becomes faster during her second phase and she'll often follow her up bell attacks with quick dashes and slashes.
She'll also focus on dropping bells diagonally during the second phase, often followed by her scream attack which causes multiple large bells to fall on the stage.
You'll want to deal as much damage as possible to her during this phase to finish the fight and avoid getting overwhelmed by her attacks. With this, make sure you attack Widow whenever she is pulling silk!

Widow will pull on some silk threads to drop a bell on Hornet. Bells will drop straight down or diagonally towards Hornet's last postion.
Widow will drop down from the air to attack Hornet followed by a charging slash attack across the stage. Getting hit by the initial downward thrust will cause Widow to unleash a combo on Hornet that deals heavy damage.
Widow will do a charging slash attack across the stage. After a delay, large bells will erupt from the ground following her trail.
Widow will roar causing 3 to 4 bells to drop on the stage simultaneously. This attack covers a large area of the stage, but silk threads will still indicate where the bells will drop.
Widow will flash her claws and quickly charge at Hornet. The boss often uses this as a follow-up to her Bell Roar attack.

Defeating Widow unlocks the Needolin skill which allows Hornet to play music and open circle-shaped doors.
