Talk to Loyal Mergwin After Accepting Plinney's Wish

Mergwin and the Pale Oil can be found in the dining area of The Citadel.
Route to Loyal Mergwin
This point starts at the Grand Gate which is the same area that you fight the Last Judge.
While we use the double jump to show the route, it is not mandatory to have it to be able to follow the route with a few adjustments.
Great Taste of Pharloom Walkthrough
Completing the Great Taste of Pharloom requires collective 5 rare delicacies found in Pharloom.

- Mossberry Stew: Given by Moss Druid at Bone Bottom.
- Vintage Nectar: Buy from Creige for 480 Rosaries in Halfway Home, Greymoor.
- Courier's Rasher: Obtain from Tipp and Pill in Bellhart. Must be delivered to Loyal Mergwin without fast travel.
- Crustnut: Find in Sands of Karak.
- Pickled Muckmaggot: Defeat the boss, Disgraced Chef Lugoli, in Sinner's Road.
How to Get Mossberry Stew

Talk to the Moss Druid, which can be found on the upper right part of Mosshome. To find the Moss Druid, head to the upper right corner section of Mosshome. There's also a thick green fog emenating from his chambers which makes it easy to find.
How to Get Vintage Nectar
The Vintage Nectar can be obtained by giving 480 Rosaries to Creige in Halfway Home. Once given, he'll open the cellar where you can obtain the Nectar. However, upon examining the Nectar, a gauntlet fight against red ants will begin. Defeat all the red ants that appear to get the nectar.
How to Get Courier's Rasher

The Courier's Rasher is an item you can obtain from Tipp and Pill in Bellhart. You'll need to complete the delivery by bringing the Courier's Rasher to Mergwin in The Citadel.
Transportation Method Aside From Running and Jumping Can't Be Used
To deliver the item, it must be in peak condition; otherwise, it will be destroyed. Using transportation methods like the Bell Beast will cause the item to break.
Getting Damaged Also Damages the Item
While delivering the item on foot, getting hit by anything that reduces your HP, such as enemy contact, attacks, or environmental hazards will cause the item to take damage.
How to Get Crustnut
To find the Crustnut, you'll need to reach an area called the Sands of Karak which is located directly above the Blasted Steps. To access the zone, you'll need to head to the Pinstress' home in the northwestern most part of the Blasted Steps. From there, you can use the rings to enter the southern part of the Sands of Karak.
Use the Metal Rings Near the Pinstress Home
Once you reach the Pinstress home in the Blasted Steps, use the rings to navigate your way to the top part of the area.

How to Get Pickled Muckmaggot
To obtain the Pickled Muckmaggot, you'll have to defeat Disgraced Chef Lugoli, which can be found in Sinner's Road. To access his area, you'll need to travel to the bottom part of the boss's zone and use the double jump to reach the back area. Defeating the Chef will make it drop the Pickled Muchmaggot.
Requirements to Complete Great Taste of Pharloom
Obtain the Grappling Claw
The Grappling Claw is a mobility skill you can use to dash farther around the map and hold on to metal rings across the map. You'll need to use the Grappling Hook to access the area where the Crustnut is located.
How to Unlock the Grappling Hook
Faydown Cloak
Faydown Cloak is the upgrade to Hornet's cloak that lets you use an additional jump while mid-air. This will let you access previously inaccessible elevated areas, which include the room where you can obtain the Pickled Muckmaggot.
Complete the Missing Brother Wish
The Missing Brother Wish will unlock the delivery missions in Bellhart. This will let you obtain the Courier's Rasher which is one of the ingredients needed to complete Mergwin's dish.

Great Taste of Pharloom Rewards
Obtain the Pale Oil
The Pale Oil is the agreed upon reward for completing Loyal Mergwin's wish. Once the five ingredients have been delivered, you'll be able to obtain the Oil, which is one of the methods for completing the Pinmaster's Oil wish and upgrading your needle.
