You will first meet Sherma in The Marrow, he will be singing in front of a locked gate. After opening the gate you will meet Sherma again in front of the trapped Bell Beast.

You will meet Sherma again after opening the gates of Songclave by ringing the bell. He will be part of the pilgrims that begin inhabiting the town.

The next time you go back to Songclave, Sherma will be missing. From his wish you find out that he went into Whiteward to find medicine for his fellow pilgrims.

Accept the wish and find Sherma's location by following his traces in Whiteward. You will eventually discover them hiding in a blocked room.

Does Sherma Die In-Game?

Sherma Live
Sherma will continue to live from Act 1 to Act 3 in the story and does not die during his related wish, Balm for the Wounded. His last known location will be in Songclave, acting as the new caretaker and elder of that settlement.

Sherma eventually is found in Whiteward as part of the Balm for the Wounded Wish quest. You will have to rescue him from spawning mobs to finish the quest. Before you leave though, you can play the Needolin and talk to him as he will have unique dialogue.

Sherma will reward you with a Spool Fragment for rescuing him. Once done, he will return to Songclave and provide aid for other pilgrims and will stay there for awhile.

Sherma is a cheerful wandering pilgrim on a spiritual journey. Every once in a while he will ask for Hornet's help to complete a few tasks.

Singing Little Pilgrim On a Journey

Sherma is a little pilgrim that is met by Hornet throughout Pharloom. He will appear in several places Hornet will travel to, indirectly helping his climb to The Citadel in the process. He is an optimistic and cheery bug, with little to stand in his way towards his pilgrimage.

Sherma appeared at the bench near the Last Judge in Blasted Steps for me, they’re still there. I’ll update this as soon as I beat Last Judge.
