How to Unlock Passing of the Age
Must Have the Silk Soar in Act 3
This quest is only accessible if players obtain the Silk Soar ability. This ability is only available in Act 3 after players reach the Abyss.
To get to Act 3, players must complete the quest Silk and Soul to obtain the Soul Snare. Then, they must defeat Grand Mother Silk, and play the Needolin to progress into act 3.
How to Unlock Act 3 and Requirements
Interact with the Tablet in Putrified Ducts
Passing of the Age can be started by simply interacting with the tablet in the Putrified Ducts. You can find the tablet at the far right side of the Flea Caravan.
Climb up the column, but don’t proceed further left. Instead, Silk Soar into the mushroom pathway with orange particles and interact with the tablet at the end to begin the side quest.

Play the Needolin on Mushroom Areas
Players can spot Mister Mushroom's hiding spots by watching out for mushrooms on the ground, with orange particles surrounding it. To get Mister Mushroom to come out, players must use the Needolin.
Moss Grotto
The first Mister Mushroom can be found by simply going to the Ruined Chapel in Moss Grotto. Head inside, keep to the right to find the next Mister Mushroom.
Bone Bottom
The second Mister Mushroom can also be found in Moss Grotto, but in Bone Bottom this time, near the entrance to The Marrow. Simply head upward before proceeding inside, and you’ll find the Mister Mushroom on the platform above.
Far Fields
The third Mister Mushroom is located in Far Fields. Head to the lower-right section of the area, and just before you reach the bench on the right, jump on the platforms above to find the next Mister Mushroom.
Greymoor
For the fourth Mister Mushroom, fast travel to Greymoor and make your way to the top-left corner of the area, where it connects to Wisp Thicket. Drop down one level and you should find the fourth Mister Mushroom.
The Slab
The fifth Mister Mushroom can be found in the Slab. Simply head to the bottom-right room and you can find the Mister Mushroom just near the entrance of the inner chamber of the area.
Mount Fay
The next Mister Mushroom can be found in Mount Fay. Float through the updrafts to reach the top of the mountain. At the summit, you’ll find a giant chicken, and just behind it is the sixth Mister Mushroom.
The Cradle
The Last Mister Mushroom can be found in the peak of the Cradle. The Map cannot be accessed here, but to reach him, head right from the bench at the peak and continue upward.
The path ahead will test your Silk Skills, so make sure you’re equipped with tools such as the Druid's Eyes to reduce damage from overworld hazards and enemies.
Passing of the Age Rewards
Unlocks a Secret Ending
Completing the Passing of the Age Wish unlocks the Secret Ending. This bonus ending scene will only play after defeating Lost Lace in Act 3 and getting the True Ending, Sister of the Void.
