How to Unlock Wall Jump

Found at the Top of Shellwood

Wall Jump Location Map Route

Wall Jump can be unlocked after acquiring the Cling Grip Ancestral Art in Shellwood. This is located at the top of the central area in Shellwood, requiring multiple platforming that requires utilizing the pogo mechanic to reach, and requires defeating Sister Splinter to obtain.

From the bench, head to the bottom left exit, then cross via pogo. Continue left, but climb the platform above before the exit. Pogo to reach the top, climb the platforms, then exit at the top right. Head right and climb the platforms, skip the pogo in the next room and continue right, then climb up and proceed to the right exit.

Defeat Sister Splinter in the next room and proceed, then path under the terrain to reach the room on the top left. Head to the leftmost section and climb up, then path rightward to the exit. Head to the central platform and inspect the altar to learn the Cling Grip Ancestral Art required to wall jump.

Jump While Clinging to a Wall

Press the jump button while clinging to a wall to perform a wall jump. Note that Hornet will only cling to surfaces after learning the Cling Grip Ancestral Art.
