Sylphsong is unlocked after getting 6 upgraded Crests and binding Eva at Weavenest Atla in Hollow Knight: Silksong. See all the steps to unlock the Sylphsong ability in this guide.
How to Unlock Sylphsong
Unlock Crest Upgrades
To unlock the Sylphsong ability, you need to upgrade at least 6 Crests in the game. You need to gather Memory Lockets to use them as the upgrade material for each Crest.
Bind Eva at Weavenest Atla
Find Eva at the Weavenest Atla area in Moss Grotto. This is located opposite of the first Bench on the left. Note that you need to play the Needolin to unlock the door leading to the area.
As you enter the Weavenest Atla, head right until you reach a room with two power cells at the ceiling. Hit both of them to restore power in the area.
Go to the middle of the area and stand on the platform on the center. This teleports you to the bottom part.
Head right and hit the wires obstructing the path multiple times to open it. Follow the path while hitting the wires to reach the end where you can find Eva.
Eva Will Not Bind with Hornet is Infected with Twisted Bud
If Hornet is infected with the curse from the Twisted Bud, Eva will not bind with her. You need to complete Rite of Rebirth wish and Infestation Operation wish to get rid of it.
Note that getting rid of the infection from the Twisted Bud locks you out of obtaining the Cursed Ending.
How to Use Sylphsong
Regenerates Silk While Resting at a Bench
Sylphsong works as a passive ability that only activates when you rest at a Bench. Doing so regenerates Silk alongside your health points.
