In the late game, the best rosary farming spot is in Choral Chambers, just beside the Grand Bellway Ventrica Station. You can farm 28 rosaries per run, netting around 1,500 in just 15 minutes.
This is a straightforward location that only requires you to defeat the two Pilgrims on the far left side of the map. Use Thread Storm to dispatch the enemies quickly, then return to rest at the bench to repeat the process.

When approaching midgame, a farming spot is located in the Deep Docks. You can farm rosaries here by repeatedly defeating an enemy and resting at the nearby bench above.
Each enemy takes only about 10 seconds to defeat and drops 7 rosaries, allowing you to collect around 42 rosaries per minute.

The earliest farming spot available in Silksong is in Mosshome. From the bench in The Marrow, head left to enter Mosshome and kill the 2 enemies near the entrance, then return to the bench and rest. Each run yields 10 Rosaries and takes 20 seconds to complete, averaging at 30 Rosaries per minute.
Notably, this farming spot is near Shakra's location in The Marrow. Players can farm in this spot early in the game and purchase all map items from Shakra to aid in exploration later on!

Rosaries are dropped by defeated enemies. The best way to farm Rosaries is to keep entering and re-entering enemy-heavy locations to refresh spawning.
This is made easier if you choose to farm Rosaries in an area early in the game, as enemies tend to be slower.

The Magnetite Brooch purchaseable from the shop in Bone Bottom can help players collect these beads, magnetizing them towards Hornet after she defeats an enemy.
How to Get Magnetite Brooch and Effects

In some areas of the map, players can find Rosary beads strung up a ceiling, giving you easy and safe Rosaries. These do not respawn after collecting from them like enemies, but they still provide a good amount of Rosaries when found!

Players can also get Rosary beads as rewards for completing certain wishes from some town's Wishboards. Make it a habit to check every once in a while as new wishes might pop up!

It is recommended to treat these items as emergency funds, only breaking them for important purchases such as maps or activating benches.

Relics can be sold to Relic Seeker Scrounge in Bellhart for Rosaries. Note that this only available after defeating Widow.
Should You Sell All Your Relics?

Rosaries are the main currency used in Pharloom. Replacing Geo from the first Hollow Knight, Rosaries are primarily used to buy items from merchants in Pharloom.

Rosaries can exceed 9999, allowing you to keep acquiring more as you progress through the game. This allows you to farm endlessly and gather as many as you need. However, it's generally better to spend Rosaries instead of hoarding them, to ensure you don't lose them all when dying, especially when playing on Steel Soul Mode, where death is permanent.
Steel Soul Mode Guide and How to Unlock

In Silksong, many benches, as well as fast travel points (Bellways) require you to pay rosaries to activate them. You will generally want to activate any of these you come across, as it will provide checkpoints and make exploration easier.

Normally, Hornet loses all Rosaries upon death. Players can still recover lost Rosaries by returning to her cocoon and breaking it.
Note only one Cocoon can exist at a time, and it records the previous amount of Rosaries held prior to death. If Hornet dies when a Cocoon is present, the previous Cocoon disappears, along with all the Rosaries held within.

Dying in this game will cause you to lose all of your Rosaries. Players can pay some merchants 80 Rosaries to create Rosary Strings, an item that can be used at any time to gain rosaries when you need them, and will not be lost upon dying.
However, when using a Rosary String, you only get 60 Rosaries back, and therefore this is best to do only if you are worried about losing your rosaries before a challenging section if you don't have anything to spend them on.

Dead Bug's Purse is a tool that will allow you to keep some of your rosaries when you die. Though you can generally return to the cocoon formed where you die to recover all of your rosaries lost upon death (as long as you don't die again on the way), this is not the case on Steel Soul Mode, so it's a way to ensure you don't lose everything.

Instead of tying your Rosaries into Rosary Strings for safekeeping, you can save and quit to the main menu when you're down to critical health! You will be sent back to the last Bench you've saved on, but at least you'll get to keep all your Rosaries.
