Roach Guts will not drop until you start the wish for Benjin and Crull, located on the top right of Sinner's Road, but reaching it requires some skill as the section requires platforming and pogo jumping to reach.

How to Find Roach Guts

Hunt Muckroaches Along Sinner's Road

Roach Guts Map
Roach Guts can be collected from Muckroaches, a common opponent bug scattered along the roads of Sinner's Road and can be farmed in that location simply by defeating them and walking around places indicated in the map above.

Once 10 Roach Guts are found, the collection objective is complete.

Hit-and-Run the Muckroaches

The easiest way to take Muckroaches down is to hit-and-run them as they attack forward consistently and cannot be stopped mid-attack. Hit them constantly whenever they are not attacking and fall back a bit when they strike.

Roach Guts Rewards

Acquire Tacks as a New Tool

Tacks

Finishing this quest rewards the player with Tacks, which basically act as ground spikes that damage enemies that approach it. You get 7 of them and they can be refilled by going to any Resting Spot as long as you have sufficient Shell Shards.
