How to Reach a Settlement in A Wider World

Pay the Ornithopter Pilot to Take You to a Settlement

The tradepost isn't a settlement, so getting there will not complete the quest. To reach a settlement, look for the Ornithopter Pilot and pay him 2,500 Solaris to take you to either Arrakeen or Harko Village.

Griffin
To start this quest, make your way to any Tradepost. The first accessible tradepost is the Griffin's Reach Tradepost in the Hagga Basin. Once you arrive, the quest will unlock and add itself to the Journeys tab.

Ornithopter Pilot NPC
Look for the Ornithopter Pilot NPC at the Tradepost you visit, who can be identified by the Ornithopter Hologram she stands next to. Speak to her and select the option to fly somewhere.

Flight Destination Options
In the list of travel options, select either Arrakeen or Harko Village. These two are Settlements, and you need to visit either one to complete this quest. Note that it will cost 2500 solaris for a flight to either area.
