Dune: Awakening

How to Get a Buggy Fast

Dune Awakening How to Get a Buggy Fast

You can acquire a buggy early in the game by claiming one in outposts in Dune: Awakening. See how to get a buggy fast and a list of buggy parts and recipes here!

How to Get a Buggy Fast

Claim a Buggy from an Outpost

The fastest way to get a buggy is to claim one from enemy outposts. Do note that claiming one from enemy outposts might be difficult if you are underleveled and undergeared since a good amount of enemies will be patrolling the outposts.

List of All Enemy Outposts

Claimed Buggys Will Have Low Durability

Buggy Engine Mk3

The parts of a buggy claimed from outposts will have low durability. With this, we recommend crafting your own buggy eventually.

Crafting a buggy should not be that difficult compared to crafting an Ornithopter since the Buggy Mk3 parts for example are under the Steel product. To make Steel Ingots, you need to farm Carbon Ores, Iron Ingots, and Water!

Get Buggy Parts From Chests

An alternative way to get a buggy early is to farm chests since they have a chance to contain buggy parts. Do note that unlike crafting a buggy from scratch, farming chests is highly based on RNG.

Should You Get a Buggy?

Buggy Cutteray Mines a Lot of Resources

You should definitely get a buggy and attach a cutteray since it generally has a higher mining yield compared to handheld cutterays. With a Buggy Cutteray, you can speed up mining resources to craft better gear and reach the end game sooner. You can also take advantage of the buggy's huge storage space, saving you time going back and forth to resource spots.

Upgrade The Cutteray, Storage, and Engine

Since the buggy is an amazing vehicle to use for mining, we recommend upgrading your buggy's cutteray, storage, and engine. Upgrading these parts will allow you to gather more resources at a shorter amount of time!

Upgrading other buggy parts will only give it some additional armor which is useful if you're using your bugy offensively.
