Best Place to Farm is in Vermillius Gap
The best place to farm Flour Sands is in the Vermillius Gap area in Hagga Basin. The field around the Flour Sands will emit white smoke, which is an indication that it's a Flour Sand field and can be farmed within that location.
It's recommended that you bring a Buggy or an Ornithopter to get to each area faster and to be able to outrun certain enemies.

The best and safest way to farm Flour Sand fields is to look for white smoke near the area where the sandworms can't reach you to avoid getting eaten. Using Static Compactors will also lessen the time you gather Flour Sand.

Another way to obtain the Flour Sand is by purchasing it through an in-game player-controlled auction house called the Exchange. You can find the Exchange in Social Hubs like Arrakeen and Harko Village.
Do note that prices and availability of the item in the Exchange will vary from world to world as the market is dependent on what the players are listing for sale.
Trade With Other Players
You can also directly trade with other players to get Flour Sand. You can trade with your friends, guild members, and even other players on your server.
