What Does Radiation Do?

Radiation Buildup Instantly Kills Players

Radiation Death

Once the Radiation meter is filled, there is a long delay before players instantly die. Unlike poison or fire, radiation does not deal damage over time, but instantly kills players.

In our experience, it took around 2 minutes with our radiation meter filled before we instantly died.

How Does Radiation Work?

Slowly Builds Up And Causes Instant Death

Exposure to radiation slowly increases radiation buildup. Once filled, this hazard can instantly kill players after a long delay.

Only Present in Specific Areas

Radiation is only present in specific areas, such as the entire region of Sheol, the Anomaly in Vermillius Gap, and the Wreck of the Pallas.

How to Mitigate Radiation

Wear Radiation Suits and Use Iodine Pill

Radiation Suits are required when exploring the areas of Sheol where radiation levels increase. Remember that even with Radiation Suits, your radiation meter still builds up.

Iodine Pill is also helpful as it adds a buildup resistance which mitigates radiation effects.
