Regaining Control Objectives
1. Meet Kara's Smuggler Contact in Harko Village 2. Ask the Black Market Trader 3. Glance at the Ledger and Return to Hannivar 4. Locate Tuco's Stash and Scan the Area 5. Investigate the Mineral Extraction Facility 6. Search Tuco's Remains 7. Report Back to Kara

Meet Kara's Smuggler Contact in Harko Village

From Arrakeen, you can use an Ornithopter or avail of the Taxu Service to go to Harko Village.

The contact can be found near Harko Village's Guild Bank on the northern side of the facility. Once at the objective, Hold down the E key on the blue indicator on the ground.

How to Get an Ornithopter Fast

Ask the Black Market Trader About the Missing Smuggler

Go to the bar within Harko Village and talk to Anoushka Hannivar. Pick the I'd like a Kirana Brandy with a cidrit twist dialogue option, then ask about Tuco's whereabouts.

Glance at the Dead-Drop Ledger and Return to Hannivar

Follow the objective marker to the room right next to the bar and interact with the ledger. Once done, report back to Hannivar and pick the I'd like a Kirana Brandy with a cidrit twist dialogue option again. From there, recite the code to her to progress through the objective.

Locate Tuco's Stash in Jabal Eifrit and Scan the Area for Clues

Tuco's Stash can be found in Jabal Eifrit Al-Janub, right by the border to Jabal Eifrit Al-gharb. Once there, use a Handheld Resource Scanner on the blue indicator found on the ground.

Avoid the Quicksand

There is a narrow path leading straight to the objective that you can take, completely avoiding the quicksand when traversing using a sandbike.

How to Escape Quicksand

Investigate the Mineral Extraction Facility

Go to CHOAM Mineral Extraction Facility #6 in Hagga Rift. You can jump down Hagga Rift and follow the objective marker towards the entrance.

Search Tuco's Remains

Proceed further in the CHOAM Mineral Extraction Facility #6. Follow the objective marker into an area with radiation and interact with Tuco's corpse nearby.

Move Fast To Avoid Dying Due to Radiation

During this objective, move fast because the radiation can build up and kill your character instantly. If you want to explore more, you can equip a Radiation Suit to slow down radiation buildup.

Report Back to Kara

Report back to Kara Valk in Arrakeen to finish this contract.

would be nice how to scan for clues in this quest line. i tried using my player and the thopter scanner and nothing. Any extra info would be nice. thanks for the guides!
